South Dakota — The busiest market this week. Golf ball to baseball-sized hail confirmed in Beadle County on June 4, with 21 separate hail events reported across South Dakota, Wyoming, Texas, Missouri, Nebraska and Minnesota on June 4 alone. Beadle County saw up to 2.75 inch hail — significant vehicle and roof damage reported.

South Dakota (June 3) — Additional hail events confirmed across Beadle, Lyman and Tripp counties with ping pong ball sized hail reported.

🟡 MODERATE

Missouri — Quarter sized hail confirmed in Gentry County on June 4. Worth monitoring as storm systems continue tracking east.

Nebraska — Quarter sized hail confirmed in Cherry County on June 4.

Colorado — Quarter to 1 inch hail confirmed across Custer, Weld and Douglas counties on June 3.

Storm systems remain active across the northern Plains and upper Midwest heading into mid-June. South Dakota and Nebraska corridors remain elevated risk. Watch developing supercells through the week of June 9.
